This is a confidence boost. It took some time for me to create a birdie opportunity so I tried to play patiently early on the front nine.

I do feel the extra pressure (playing with the defending champion). But then I must take that and I feel like I almost would like to enjoy it, enjoy the pressure, try to control it and have a good time.

It looks like all the bad things came out today for us. I think we can manage our games well if we avoid being caught in the rough and I'll go aggressive as much as I can tomorrow.

It's very tough if you hit into the deep rough on this course. We'll just go back out there and do our best tomorrow to move up the standings as high as possible.
