Talking with people in the Research Triangle (in North Carolina), they had plenty of people with master's degrees and doctorates when they started. What they needed were technicians and a workforce.
This situation should not be repeated. We're going to have to clarify the process.
We talked a lot about how that region grew and how students were recruited. We need to be ready to train a workforce for these jobs.
