We were the faster team tonight but did not control the ball well enough. Gross was playing their fifth game and we may have won with more game experience. We needed to use our speed better and do less cutting across the grain.
He's our best defender. I don't think he's lost a 50-50 challenge. And he's a great kid.
North is very strong. We played with them for about 25 minutes.
We had the jitters and we made some costly mistakes. We made some mental errors and gave the ball away. These are mistakes that we can correct.
It was his first start in goal. He was something. A few of those saves were pretty special.
