bit definitely hide last pressure sort welcome year
I think it's definitely more pressure than last year. Last year Lance sort of absorbed everything and I was able to just kind of hide out around him. Now it's a little bit different. ... It's a little bit more pressure, but it's welcome pressure.

I was on the left side and I stayed out of it. There were a lot of people who went down. It looked like everyone was going down.

It's a flat course that doesn't suit my style, ... Right now all I am focused on is Sept. 18. What happens on Sept. 19 or any day after that, I have no idea. I'm not thinking beyond this Vuelta.

I've been doing a lot of training. Right before this race, I did a big training block, ... I'm ready to go. Two weeks to go and I'm excited. I really like racing in the heat.

It's not an easy course at all. There are all kinds of bumps, traffic circles and hard corners that will make it a tense race, ... The climbs are harder than people think and it's not sure it will all just come down to a sprint.
excited goal madrid next taking
I'm just taking it day by day, ... My goal is not just to get to Madrid, but to get to Madrid strong. If I get there and feel good, then I'll be even more excited for next year.
