I thought Neely would be the designated hitter but he has worked himself into a starting position. Neely is one of our best defensive players in the infield.
I thought Lee Hall hit the ball well. But outside of that, we were just here and there. We couldn't get good hits when we needed them.
That's a credit to our players for coming back the way they did. Away from home, after getting beat the first game, to come back and win that second game on the road, that's pretty big.
They are all big. We just have to play with what we have and see what happens.
Some days this spring, our two through four pitchers have looked great. But other days, our two through fours haven't looked that great. But I'm confident in their abilities.
