The past four years have been a continuous electoral campaign to sweeten the waters.
It is lose-lose situation. Anyone who expects prompt fiscal correction in Hungary may easily be disappointed.
People just lived better and better. It was like a free lunch for voters.
The new government after the elections would do well to recognize that the high public deficit is unsustainable and could lead to serious economic consequences.
