And we want to win in a way that suggests to anybody that plays this team beyond this year, that you'd better check in and know how the Rangers are playing because that's what you're going to have to live up to. That's what we're trying to develop here.
They all felt that they've been well prepared, well organized and that the game plan was appropriate and that they needed to check in mentally and emotionally to go and execute. I'm not sure where that leaves you at the end of the day as a coach. You're still sort of picking straws.
Often times, it takes more than one person to check him. You have one person on the body and the other person on the puck. If you try to play him one-on-one, he'll eat you up.
