After several discussions with both Gino and Antonio, I felt it would be in the best interest of both student-athletes and the Wisconsin football program if they did not return to the program.
Not only that but a leadership role. He's someone who works hard every day. He may not be the best in anything individually. But he's definitely going to try and be the best.
I'm a big believer in competition bringing out the best in people. There's plenty of time for this all to shake out.
