We've been together as a group for a long time, and I think the group that we get on the field on Sunday is going to do fine. I expect that, I see it out of these guys every day in training, so hopefully it carries over on the field on Sunday.
I think our performance should be better this week than it was last week. They're another week in camp, they should be getting over the hump in terms of the physical demands and they should be getting sharper on the ball. Hopefully the performance on Sunday will be better.
We have 12 guys who have been to a World Cup. On June 12, we play a team with no one who has played in a World Cup. I'd like to believe that hopefully gives us an edge in this game.
You can run around all you want with a fitness coach but you have to play games. Getting 90 minutes in is valuable. Hopefully that pays some dividends these next couple of games.
That was a dominant performance by our team tonight; I'm very pleased. A number of players tonight made statements; hopefully they'll continue to make statements.
It was good to see Taylor score a goal because I understand he's supposed to be a goal scorer. It was nice to see him score one in our jersey ... hopefully there's many more to come.
It was an important experience for our young guys and hopefully we can continue to build as we move forward towards the World Cup.
We have about six weeks to move John along. Hopefully he stays injury free. If he's not able to overcome any kind of injuries, he will be a candidate for possible replacement on the roster.
What defines where you can rate yourself is the World Cup. You have to show what you are about at the World Cup. Hopefully we will get to show what we can do.
