Nobody expects nothing out of us. It's been a struggle. We had 14 kids to play two games today. Sure, the split hurts, but I've got kids who are playing hard.
He has good athletic ability and it shows in both sports. He did a pretty good job becoming a better outfielder last spring. When he gets in the games, he has that little extra for the game that helps him a lot.
I wasn't comfortable until the game was over. That's a tall order to make all of them (free throws). There's no comfortable lead in this league.
To make sure that we show them, even on a down year, we can be pretty good. It's a game we expect to be able to compete in and hopefully win, yearly.
We lost two one-point games this week. I think we may have let that affect us.
Right now, we're two and two against Rose in the four games we played. There is no pressure on us. They are having the perfect season and the pressure to keep on going. We want to play hard and respectably and use this as a springboard for the rest of our 3-A season.
It's huge. It's one of those games we put up there with playing New Bern. It's a big challenge.
