The Kings would like to thank Andy Murray for his loyalty and dedication to our franchise over the last seven years. Ultimately, I have not been happy with the direction our hockey team has been going, and without making a change now, I didn't see that direction changing.

Adam played a tremendous role for us during the time he was here and represented the Kings at the highest levels both on and off the ice. This will be a great opportunity for our fans to show their appreciation for his true dedication and outstanding play during his time with our organization.
