The owners panicked. They were afraid there might be a work stoppage. But we would've had 12 months to sit down and work a better deal out. With this deal, there's going to be half the clubs under water.
This is the usually the first tournament where most of the teams will have their full rosters with their high school players. Clinton had a tournament last weekend that some of the clubs played in, but this is the first real big one.
Nothing's changed. Basically, without going into all the details, the deal is just about the same. Maybe the high-revenue clubs are picking up a slight increase in money.
