The governor understands this is a complex case and he believes the panel should take the time necessary to do a complete and thorough job.
The governor has decided that any time the primary purpose of a trip is political, costs associated with it should not be paid by the taxpayer.
We look forward to signing it sometime next week. As with any appropriations bill, the governor will use his powers to make some modifications and adjustments, but they won't affect the main purpose of the bill.
