We're trying to help express community outrage and make sure this doesn't happen again,

Sometimes being real means being unsympathetic, ... I don't worry too much about being liked. That's not my first priority. I'd rather play someone people might identify with. If I sign on to do something I believe in, I'm trying to play what the writer wrote. And I hope that the audience will understand where the character is coming from.
