Jim Angell Music Quotations

We're going to do some old traditional folk songs. We haven't completely set up a list. We'll play some music from modern Celtic rock bands like the Seven Nations. We'll play a couple of more contemporary Irish tunes that I wouldn't call rock; they're more contemporary ballads. We haven't set it all out yet, but they run the gamut.

Michelle is a very talented Irish dancer. Chris Foster has the same influences as mine. He's mostly interested in 1960s rock n' roll. The youngest member of the band is not yet 30 and the oldest is approaching 50, so we have a broad range of musical experience. We all bring those different influences in when we play.

We're getting a collection of Irish and Scottish music going, which is fun and it really gets people stomping their feet. They're not so much singing along, unless they know the words and then they get started.
