This is great research. We are honing in now on things people can measure to determine snow-pack stability. The more we can make tests like this (in the field) . . . the more likely we are to be able to predict avalanches.
I'm glad that we were finally able to try this case and get all the evidence out. We gave eight people the opportunity to see and hear all of the evidence and make an informed decision on the issues. We try cases to juries so that they're not tried in the evening news.
I think he would want his legacy to be one that encourages people to be involved in things in any way they can, to get involved and use all their abilities. To live their life with passion, as he did.
