It was a calamity of errors on plays that you have to make. I am embarrassed at how we played and our lack of fire when we got down early. We are a much better team than we showed today and will demonstrate that when we play them again next week in our league opener.

We have really been stinging the ball lately. When we are aggressive at the plate and use good pitch selection, we are a team that can definitely pound the ball.

This isn't about beating Central or any other team in our league. This is about being committed, focused and mature enough to play to your ability every single inning. If we do that, the wins will take care of themselves.

We played five bad innings and had one good inning. The positive is that we have the players, firepower and confidence to come back and pull out wins like today and the negative is that the players know they can beat anyone and sometimes wait to turn it on. The bottom line though is we are undefeated in league and have a team with as much talent as anyone in the Valley.
