He pitched very well. He was hitting his spots and the hits he did give up were not hit solid. As a team we weren't able to manufacture any runs, and it is hard to win baseball games regardless how you pitch, if you don't manufacture any offense.
He was keeping the ball down and made them put it in play so his defense could work behind him. That's what I expect him to do for us.
We played pretty well -- compared to Monday we played a lot better. We hit the ball pretty well -- going inside-out and going the opposite direction and we only had two errors and that was a fresh change from Monday.
It was two different ball clubs (from Monday to Wednesday) and that was nice to see.
David did really well the first couple innings keeping the ball down and keeping it in play. He got a little tired and Jonathan came in and gave us the opportunity to keep control of the game. I thought he did pretty well.
