If this had happened in 2004 when the Anglo-Leasing scam was first exposed, or in November 2005 when the president reconstituted cabinet, the sense of optimism and confidence that the government is genuine about fighting graft would have prevailed.
I'm hoping it (sacking) means the president is ready to consult widely and let go some of the ministers who marred his name and his image.
