It really wasn't that big of a deal. Granted, I want to get hits every game but not to keep a streak alive. I want to help us win.
We don't expect him to go eight innings every night. But if he keeps us in games as the No. 5 starter that's going to be big.
Personally I think it's better to play in the day than at night. Instead of waiting around all day for the game to start all we have to do is wake up, eat a good meal and then play football.
Mostly we just sat on the bench. But we got to see great, close games and we got to experience it.
Besides that, the weather is great, the travel is a piece of cake, you can focus entirely on baseball and the facilities are first-class because games are played at Spring Training stadiums. I had a blast. Whoever thought of the AFL, it was a great idea.
