I was so pleased (Tuesday) with the great balance we had. One thing you can say about this team is we're not one dimensional.
All I can say is we're still a very dangerous ball club. If we find a way to close out (games) better I think we've got a great chance (in the playoffs).
The bottom line is we need one more great effort for 32 minutes (tonight) to get to Lexington (to the state tournament). We're not finished yet.
One of the kids suggested it in the locker room (at halftime) and I knew he was right. We were getting beat on penetration and we also knew they didn't have great outside shooters.
There's been no pigeons (easy opponents) in our district and regional draws, and that's the way I like it. We're going to have to earn it and Friday night will be another gigantic test. It'll be a great atmosphere.
He played a great game. This is one of those times when a guy comes to the state tournament and really picks his team up. If he doesn't do what he did, we win.
