O. Henry Kids Quotations

I'm thrilled with the performance, but disappointed to lose on a technicality. It's a tough way to learn a lesson, but it doesn't take anything away from the way the kids ran.

We took 10 days off before starting practices again. It hurt our conditioning and all our players really got tired, but I think the break was a positive thing. Our kids carry a tough academic load in addition to playing basketball and they needed the time off.

The lead girl, Jaime Hite, who plays the oldest daughter, Anne, has a huge amount of lines. The older kids have a lot of lines, too, more than the younger ones.

I wanted to be on the winning side (on the record), but to it was truly unbelievable to have the season we had. The kids just stepped up and played well.
