We needed some momentum and a game to get back some confidence. Southern Miss is a great team. To come out tonight and play well against them and beat a team like that, it was huge for us.

One goal against Rogers is never enough. We were in a little bit of a hole there (in the first half). But I thought we played better in the second half. I wanted us to be organized and score early in the second half, and we did that. A tough game like this will help us at state.

Switzerland are not inferior to anyone. They played well against England. With a bit more luck, they could have scored early against England. It was very close and at 11 against 11 I though they played very well.

It's the most difficult team we've had to pick as selectors. Across the board we have guys who are playing outstanding rugby. For example, Rico Gear scored a hat-trick against Wales and can't get in the team.

As a captain me, Sean and Chris had been on the team since we were freshmen so we knew the role we had to play as leaders on the team. If things were down, we had to pull the rest of the team out of the troubles. Knowing we had been there for four years we were used to the practices, going to the tournament and the difference between playing against rivals.

The tremendous growth in the game of game has generated a huge talent pool of players, and we are pleased to present an opportunity for them to play against the world's best.

We are bringing through some outstanding youngsters and the character they showed to get us through to the League Cup semi-finals at Doncaster gave us a real lift for the Christmas matches and I think we took that into the matches against Charlton and Portsmouth.

I can't remember any team in high school playing the wishbone. In fact, I can't remember ever playing against it.

There's a saying that if you compete against the best it will only make you better, and I'm hoping that will come true. We want to be able to compete and put on a first-class meet, and we want people to come back to Albuquerque because we think this is pretty special.

I really respect Shay Given as a goalkeeper, he's one of the best in England, but I'm going to do my best tonight. He has played well against me but if I remember well, I always usually come out of it with a goal.

I really don't. You never know in a short series what can happen. Anaheim has the home-field advantage against New York. So who knows?

Big Jim did a great job going against their big players. And Cobb did a great job for us off the bench. We came out with a lot of intensity.
