We're providing a service that's very valuable to students, ... It's free to students and free to schools with scholarships. We're filling an essential need.
We're finding that across the country that these tutoring programs, afternoon sessions are making a big difference. But we're also finding that not enough parents and students are knowledgeable about the options.
The world is run by C students
I'm not saying that they were Einsteins; they were marginal students. But every ballplayer whoever touched me has moved up his station in life. And the players moved up my station.
We want them to have a real-world experience, which means working with people from other schools and cultures, which gives them an experience of diversity. Some students never would have considered a career in international business and exportation without this kind of exposure.
We want to show the community that there are things happening at our college that are directly benefiting the community. This will also allow our students to interact directly with the public.
We want to show how the university feels and show how the students feel and see how much of that is really true.
We want to see the provincial government play more of a leadership role and not leaving the colleges, and the students especially, out to hang dry, and we need to see that action very quickly.
We want to see our Dublin students become entrepreneurs, to be the creators and innovators we know they can be. Giving them this active experience will hopefully encourage them to keep dreaming and remembering that they can take any idea, build on it, and make it work.
The only reason I can think of is that the students are happy with the job we have done.
