We're still trying to place people in the right spots. Right after spring break, we'll start locking in and focusing toward district, but right now we're moving guys around to see how they do in different events and see where they'll be strongest.
The best thing for us is if the points get spread out. It comes down at district to who has the best day, and between the four teams it can go any way. If everything clicks on our end, we could be tough to beat. If we're not clicking and everybody else is, it will go the other way.
We're going out to do the very best we can at every meet. But at the same time, we're testing the waters to make sure we're using the right people for district. That's the main one.
Some kids really stepped up and did well. I know we've got the lead right now, but it's going to come down to the end and it's going to be a battle.
This was an awesome meet all the way around. Whether or not we came out on top, it was still a good competition for everyone.
He's a special player. You might see a lot of kids who can hit and may be a little weak on defense, or vice versa. Jason's got a little bit of it all, and he excels in all of it. I don't know that he has a true weakness. It's truly something special to be around a kid like that.
He's going to be strong for us. We just want to make sure we keep him well for district.
We were staying in the house, and the house started trembling. I mean, in a matter of seconds.
I wasn't expecting to get that many points, but everybody really stepped up. All the coaches working with the kids it takes everybody's work to get to where we're at and it paid off.
It shows that he talks to the coaches and does research, and that professionalism comes across on the air. I think Aaron has the potential to be a play-by-play guy on the large stage. He's dedicated to being the best announcer he can be.
