Our pitchers did an excellent job. I am very pleased. We made several adjustments in trying to pitch to their outstanding hitters. We did a good job of that.
He threw the ball down really good in the sixth and seventh innings. Those were his best innings. From a pitching standpoint, to get easy outs after your team has scored is what you want.
He is a strike-thrower. In (the CPL), if you throw enough strikes and let the wooden bat take care of itself, you will be OK. He keeps the ball down and is a very good fielder.
I think Travis still has better baseball left in him. He could be a good catalyst for us in this tournament.
We started off kind of sloppy with some fundamental errors. But I was obviously very pleased with the pitching and, defensively, we played good ground-ball defense. And the outfield stepped up and made a couple of big catches.
