He did a tremendous job. I knew he was going to be good, but he jumped up three weight classes from last year and I didn't know how he'd handle that. He responded really well; he was the one person who got us going night in and night out.
We were mainly freshmen and sophomores this year and they stuck with it. They knew we were going to get beat in a lot of meets because we couldn't fill a full lineup, but they kept working hard.
The biggest thing we were looking for out of the kids was improvement. By the end of the year we had some kids beat people who had beaten them before and that's how we wanted to gauge ourselves.
