She returned to Colorado with three children and an even larger assortment of animals, including a goat.
Before moving to Utah, she raised dachshunds and Shetland ponies at the family home on Jackson Street. She arrived at Hill Field with two children, three dogs, a litter of puppies and two horses, for which she was able to commandeer a stable built from airplane packing crates.
