There are typically 70 fires each year, so we're way ahead of pace (for one month). We were behind. We should have known it was too good to be true.
So many people did open up their wallets during (Hurricane) Katrina and that was very much needed. Unfortunately, we need it again and it's right here in our local community.
We have to be able to provide these services.
We work directly with landlords to get them in places. Unfortunately, a lot of these people don't have a lot of family. That's what is making this more challenging.
