Andy Robinson Autumn Quotations

I thought the preparation for the autumn was spot-on. We are asking Martin (Corry) and the team to play at their very best, and we want to give them every opportunity to do that.

Matt is an important part of the England squad and made a big contribution during the Autumn series and the Six Nations. He will be missed by during this crucial time of the season and by ourselves on the tour to Australia and we wish him a swift and full recovery.

Martin was inspirational during the autumn and we believe he is the man to lead England throughout the tournament.

Unfortunately the players are caught in the middle at the moment. I thought the preparation we did in the autumn was spot on but that has not happened this time.

It was a retrospective comment based on issues which arose last year and Charlie gave an honest opinion. I think the Twickenham crowd have been outstanding in the last six months and really got behind the side in the autumn internationals.
