We had some good opportunities, with free throws and short jumpers, but I think we were a little bit fatigued. Our kids played an outstanding ball game, especially after getting down so early. We still had a chance to win the game.
That one early spurt hurt us. Once we got our feet under us, we played with confidence. I was most proud that we kept battling. That has been our trademark all year.
We played a focused and solid first half. But Black Hills took the initiative in the second half.
