I think investors have become more serious about the impact of taxes because they were saddled with tax bills in 2000 -- but many funds performed poorly as the market crashed.
There are also many tax-efficient funds that aren't necessarily advertised as such.
The bottom line is how much you have left over from your earnings, and in that regard, these funds have done a pretty good job.
They are the least-known people from an archaeological standpoint. If it holds up it is concurrent with the Clovis people recognized as the oldest people in North America.
They're showing signs of life, but I would caution investors not to get too swept away.
Hopefully investors realize by now they don't need a focused sector fund in their portfolio.
