The smart guy will outsmart himself. The lucky guy will run out of luck. The money guy will never have the desire. But hard work will take you anywhere you want to go.
It's hard under the circumstances to see this disaster in that light. But if you were bound and determined to find a silver lining to this catastrophe, one could say that there is the potential here to rebuild a state-of-the-art network in every respect.
Their present charter is not livable. It's onerous. If they were willing to work with us, maybe we could join in a charter change with just a minimal inflation provision.
The lesson I learned from this one is not so much in the details of the network design or preparedness, but the issues we dealt with in facing a situation with civil unrest and security issues for our employees.
