We did have a very solid fall, which is a little bit unusual. A couple years ago, we had a real good fall, and that was the year when we had a very good team. So I'm hoping this is a good sign.

I think it was awesome for Brett to have a little individual satisfaction today. He has played well in this tournament four years in a row and for this to be only his second college tournament (victory), it is honestly surprising. We have to play a good round tomorrow to stay in middle of this thing, which we are capable of doing. We haven't had a great day yet; we had two good days. I have a feeling we have a good round left in us.

We played a lot better than we did yesterday, even though we didn't pick up more ground. It was an easier day to play today; it was still cold but less windy. Unfortunately nothing special happened.

We persevered today. We should be successful here on our home course.

To be real honest, I couldn't be more disappointed, and at the same time I couldn't be prouder of my kids. It's tough to take. My kids are a little dejected right now. It won't be a nice ride home.

We had a couple of train wrecks towards the end of the day. We were playing really well through eight holes. These greens are fast and bent. We are not experienced in that area, so we had some experience to gain today.

We've been chasing the Bulldogs all year long.

We've had a good year. I'm excited about this team.

Both of them work very hard on their game. Both of them were outstanding in the classroom, and both of them do the right things most all the time.

It was tough to take. Our kids played their hearts out and played some incredible golf. That was about as good of a shoot-out as I've seen in college golf. It was a heck of a fight. Unfortunately they (Georgia) got the best of us.

They had a great season and they are very deserving of these awards. They played hard and did a nice job this year. I would have been surprised if they had done anything else.

There's definitely an element of pride there. Outside the postseason, if you ask our guys which tournament they would like to win, they're probably say this one. I think everyone wants to do well at home and protect the home turf.

Everyone's chasing the Dogs. That's all there is to it. They've been ranked No. 1 all year, they're the defending national champions. They're the team to beat.

As a coach, you hate to see your kids in pain and suffering a little bit. So I was just trying to encourage him and talk to him about what he learned and some of the positives that should have been gained here.

Georgia's the team to beat. Everybody pretty much acknowledges that, but we're 1-0 against them, and I don't think our kids are ready to concede.

The freshman really stepped up for us after a little disappointing day. I still don't think we're putting as well as we could, but hopefully tomorrow will be a better day, put together a few more putts and finish this thing off.

The conference is probably as good as it has ever been from top to bottom.
