During the two-day game at Northampton, in the 11th over of the game, he bowled a bouncer and felt some sharp pain in his right elbow and got the usual joint symptoms of weakness and dysfunction with it, and it's gone on from there.

It's nothing we're too unhappy about. Basically, the joint is irritated. We'd like more time of course but we're confident he's responding to treatment. He'll have more treatment today and we'll reassess him.

The aim is to get rid of his pain, get rid of the swelling, make it a functional joint and, if he's not feeling anything, he's fine.
