Whether or not this hurricane hits shore in Florida, we're going to have storm surges in the coastal areas. We're going to have high winds, hurricane force winds in some cases. People should not be complacent about this.
I can't emphasize enough to the people in the Keys that a hurricane is coming,
While we essentially hurry up and wait for Hurricane Wilma, Florida should take advantage of the slow pace and use this time to stock up on supplies and prepare.
Right now the projection is it will land somewhere in the Tampa Bay area. And so we've got 24 hours to get our citizens prepared. Where the hurricane lands is relevant, of course, but it's going to affect millions of people regardless of where it lands.
A hurricane is a hurricane, ... It has deadly force winds.
Conditions outside continue to be dangerous and they will continue to be so, even after the hurricane has passed,
I cannot emphasize enough to the folks that live in the Florida Keys a hurricane is coming, and a hurricane is a hurricane and it has deadly force winds,
The hurricane is coming and a hurricane is a hurricane. It has deadly-force winds and while there have been evacuations over the last 14 months and there's not been a hit, perhaps people are saying 'I'm going to hunker down.' They shouldn't do that.
