The first thing I did was go to Rick Hendrick and tell him what I'd been approached with, what I would like to do and what my hopes were. We worked it all out, and first thing I know I'm signing a lifetime contract.
In our business, just getting to 40 means something...that's why I think sometimes you have to just live in the moment. You have to enjoy life to its fullest.
It was spectacular, probably one of the coolest things I think I've ever done. I'm so glad we got a chance to do it. It just puts a whole different perspective on life when you are in that type of an environment.
