We want to show people we're the best team in the conference. We want to win the Big Ten Tournament and show that maybe we did deserve a little bit of the Big Ten title.
He was always a good teammate. Hopefully as a team we can move on from it and put some closure to it.
Grier didn't make it easy on us, but I didn't expect him to. He's a senior and they have a veteran team like we do. This meant a lot to them, too.
I think we're a better team now than we were then. To lose a game right now would be devastating.
I think this shows how we've been able to fight through adversity. The way this team has persevered has been something else.
The pressure's kind of off us. We knew we had the team to get back here.
The poise of this team was very good. We could have easily shut it down down four (points), but we didn't. That says a lot about this team.
This team will be remembered forever. No one has done this before, and we did it. The stuff that happened the past couple years just makes it that much greater.
After dropping a couple of games on the road, we needed one like this. We played good defense. Holding a Big Ten team to 25 percent from the field is pretty unbelievable and we got things going on offense. We needed to come out and play well at home again and we did.
It just seemed like we weren't ready to play today. We've got to compete for a Big Ten title. I don't think some guys on this team realize they may never get a chance to ever do this again.
