We must continue, however, to send a strong message of resolve to the people of Iraq, to our troops, to our coalition partners, and to the rest of the world that we, the United States of America, will stay the course and get the job done.
The American people are of good heart ... but do not try in any way to deceive them or let this progress indicate to the world a less than sincere and prompt effort to bring about a new government.
This has become a meeting spot for people throughout the region.
The aftermath of the elections is fraught with uncertainty. We should prepare the American people for as many eventualities as could possibly happen.
