The energy was great to start off the meet, so we were just excited to get out there do it. To get that win in the first event was a big deal for us.

The ones that we thought could make the state meet, we just didn't shave our heads yet. We'll do it for state. It feels amazing right now. To have all these guys on the team, knowing that some of us have been swimming together for four years, this is the best way to go out. We're looking forward to cutting our times even more at state.
