I try to please myself. I don't try to anticipate what people want to see.

These older and wiser guys are digging, trying to get a wagon wheel out of the mud after a storm, and the two younger cowboys -- who are supposed to be helping -- are doing nothing -- just like boys will tend to do, ... It's things like that, that make a movie real.
You can spend your life trying to be popular, and that's a tricky business. You can just try to be true to yourself.
