He's in a battle. But in Tim's case he's really matured. He put the extra time in to get himself bigger, stronger. It really is about his career, and I think he's trying real hard to resurrect it.
His mark is he's a hard hitter and runs over people. He's just been out there doing it, and you have to give him credit.
He had a whole year that tested his mentality playing the game. He decided he needed to work out hard and become stronger.
You really do get that feeling. Those guys in that room deserve a lot of credit. They push each other. They encourage each other. They're hard on each other at times. But they like playing with each other. Those guys are determined to have somebody make a difference every night.
J.P.'s looking real good. I like the way he's skating. We're going to start pushing him harder and harder, get him involved in more stuff.
Maybe another player would have called it a day already, but he worked hard and had no qualms about getting back in there again. Some players, it would be an easy scenario to pull back. He's not that cautious guy.
We've got a great group of guys here that have worked extremely hard in the first 43 games. We just want to build on it.
I think he's pressing a bit little right now, but I really like how hard he's working, where he's skating, where he's going,
I think we've seen the benefit of how we play, and the fans have come back. They like how we play and how hard we work, and it's just something you want to keep going.
