I think it was a targeted attack, and we are investigating.
We definitely know that the bomber blew himself up, but what needs to be known is that whether he was alone or not. There are three bodies and a body-less head which are still to be identified.
Extra police and rangers have been deployed all around the city to maintain law and order.
We cannot pinpoint anyone at this stage. The investigation is following different avenues.
We identified one of the heads as belonging to a sound technician working near the stage, and now believe only one suicide bomber was involved.
We are suspecting that the suicide bomber came to the venue along with a small rally, which merged into the gathering. He was close to the stage . . . and he blew himself up when the prayers were nearing their end.
I seriously doubt the authenticity of the claim. Investigators will look into the statement but serious doubts are there over its authenticity.
The bomber used about 5 kilograms (11 pounds) of explosives obtained locally, and we have collected his body parts.
The evidences we have collected show that it was a suicide attack.
