We respect and honor the decision. But it does not mean we approve of it.
We're getting to know one another. We've really improved from last week to this week. We worked as a team and communicated a lot more.
We're going to the Department of Justice because we feel the investigation was tainted. We have documentation and pictures that prove these same officers have been abusive in the past.
We're going to meet Friday, I'm going to sleep on it, and make a decision on Saturday. Coach (Sampson) seems like a good dude, and he's a proven winner, but at the end of the day it's going to come down to whether I feel comfortable with he and his coaching staff.
We're going to investigate each one of them. We may put somebody conditionally under a license until they prove that they deserve to continue.
We're going to head off to some big camps and tournaments this summer and get a lot of work in at the gym. We're very happy that the community supported us the way they did this year. Hopefully we'll come back next year and improve upon what we've established this season.
We're going to have to take care of business. We've gone through the up and downs when these kids were freshman and sophomores, and improved on what we did last year. I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable group, and this is where they can make their mark.
We're going to have to play some outstanding defense. We have to box out to get rebounds, improve our foul shooting and take care of the basketball.
We're going to have information on how people can develop a team and we will tell them what their responsibilities are. It's just getting started right now. I'm glad that the school has approved it.
With the second year beginning, the team has come together. The defense looks to improve with a much-improved offense.
