She wanted this one last, special trip. She had always been to Disney World, but never to Disney Land, and she wanted it for her girls.

It is so good to be able to carry on in Kelly's name, the things that she liked to do, the giving of herself and giving to people something that they need. I think she is watching over all of us and is excited in the move that her father and I have made, how her children are turning out, and that everyone is still involved in things that she liked to do.

We encourage all survivors to come out, whether you're a survivor of 50-plus years, and I got to hope that there are, or if you're newly diagnosed today.

We are so pleased to be able to carry on something that Kelly really enjoyed the two years that she was able to participate. It gives us a rewarding and satisfying feeling, and it is a way to continue to celebrate her memory, and also to celebrate with the survivors who are making it, and to be there to support them.

It's such an awesome event and I just love every aspect of it. I love the beautiful music that is put together, and I love the luminaries the best. There is a quietness and peacefulness that falls over, because everyone is thinking of someone they have loved and lost, or someone going through cancer. All of the field's lights will be off, and it's just the candles flickering in the bags.
