What I always tell my clients is to put yourself in your potential customer's shoes - what would you want to hear about this story/book and does this [marketing material] deliver that information?

The vast majority of athletes and their parents have no frame of reference to understand the recruiting process. They figure it out after it's too late. I'm trying to do what any good teacher would in give them enough information to where they can control the process instead of the process controlling them.
