Chai Soua Vangis a Hmong American from Laos who was convicted of murder. Vang shot eight people while on a hunting trip in northern Wisconsin on November 21, 2004; six were killed and two were left wounded... (wikipedia)
Mr. Vang is my hero because he was able to defend himself and now he is alive.
My life is over, but all you out there still live. I hope every one of you learn to love from this tragedy.
I have done something to defend myself and my race.
I can't read people's minds, but my impression is that I feel pressure toward the Hmong,
He was not a dog to sit there and let him shoot at them, ... I'm glad my brother did it with pride.
He did it with pride, ... And I'm glad my brother did it, with pride he stand up for who he is to defend himself. If he was just to let them shoot at him like a dog, we would never know where he is, who did it.
I was afraid and scared for my life. I could tell by the way they looked at me that if I didn't shoot them, they'd shoot me.
I told him I didn't know it was private, ... I didn't see any signs.
Good luck, ... Don't go too far. Don't get lost.
