We have to give the kids credit. They made it their mission to follow the game plan.
Now, we can get in the gym (and practice) before our next game on the 17th.
Nobody could shoot it tonight, on both teams. Once again we played right to the level of our competition. Centauri's a good team, not a great team. But this is a big win for us.
Free throws down the stretch up us over the edge.
If we win by more than seven points, then we'll host them here in the first round on Tuesday. If we don't, then we'll have to go back over there.
I think Schutz is one of the top five players in this league. (Hill) was real happy with his performance.
We had five turnovers in the first quarter, and at least two of them were his, so he sat. But when he came back in he did a fantastic job for us. When he got rolling, our entire offense got going.
We played pretty good, but we didn't finish again.
We flip-flopped completely from the weekend. We knew what we did wrong when we lost. (Tuesday night) we played with a more aggressive defense. The focus of the kids was much better.
We had the lead but then made some dumb mistakes. We showed the whole league that we can play with (Bayfield), and I know we can play even better than we played today, but the mistakes and the dumb fouls cost us the game.
We got out to a big lead and then we kind of got in foul trouble.
We did a good job rebounding, which is great for us because of our size.
Derek did his job. He hit some big shots. He had a pretty good night.
