We try to expand the series each year.
It doesn't matter whether the course is available at the Y or here, as long as it's available to the public. We don't look at the Y as competitors; we look at them as neighbors.
We do a lot for children with sports in the city, and we want to do more in other areas, too.
The reason the 55-Plus Club is successful is that I stay out of the way. They have committed individuals who plan all of the activities and prepare the calendars. Those volunteers make the difference.
It just takes more to entertain kids these days.
