What we do everyday of our season is for us, but it impacts so many others. We're giving young people goals and opportunities to continue to pursue soccer, knowing they'll have a team to play for.
Maggie has worked really hard and her skills have gotten so much better.
She was a little hesitant at first, (but then) did an outstanding job.
She's really shown wonderful skills. Her only downfall is she's short.
She (Campbell) really has a great foot and skills.
She has done an amazing job back there, but the unfortunate thing is she's short. There are some balls up in the air that she can't get and that is when we need somebody get back there to help her.
She hurt us last time we faced them.
My goals for this next week is to work on coming together as a team and hopefully we can have some success.
No. 1, she is the voice that can always be heard. She can pick up on what's going on and she leads those guys out there. She hustles everywhere and isn't afraid to get into any play.
Ninety percent of them are doing something better every game. Now, hopefully, that we have a program they have something to work towards; we're just two steps shy of having all of it put together.
Her motivation and drive to compete and win are pretty outstanding.
We looked like a completely different team (In the second half. We just couldn't finish the ball.
We looked awesome, unfortunately it came so late in the game and so late in the season.
Our season goal is to work together well as a team and put those individual skills into the pot.
We were very evenly matched. The girls are extremely upbeat; by no means were they satisfied, but they were picking up on the bright spots.
We'll see how well we can keep our intensity up.
Today we showed up. We finally had the team I thought we should have had a month ago.
We were on our defensive side as much as we were on their defensive side.
On defense it was just a couple of missed marks and opportunities Montrose took advantage of.
You don't want to say you're happy with a loss, but I am not disappointed with this game or the Montrose game.
It's a trial by fire sort of thing, but they're really doing an awesome job.
That's an outstanding number. Last year we struggled to have a team.
I'm excited. After a season without a team it makes me appreciate it more.
Injuries have taken more out of the girls than even a loss could.
In the second half, we spent more time on their half than we have in any of our games. We just couldn't finish.
Hopefully what we're doing is helping these freshman and sophomores build for the next couple of years.
If I look back, I think we're head and shoulders above where we were last year.
The great thing is they are freshmen and sophomores (that are playing). It's forced time, but it's time that they need I know it will pay off.
The girls look like they have been through the war when the whole thing was over. It just got tough in the second half because we not only had to battle Aspen, we had to fight the wind.
